AVAX Staking guide

To start staking, open GOLDSTATION in your browser and install a compatible wallet into your browser AVALANCHE core wallet or metamask etc. Connect wallet and browse to staking page to start with.

1. Check APR and click [Stake] button

2. Enter amount of AVAX to stake

3. Check estimated gsAVAX and click [Confirm] button

4. Connected wallet would appear at top-right, confirm transaction via wallet.

The user's staked AVAX will be waiting until the end of the round in which they started staking and will be applied at the start of the next round. Once staking is applied, the user is issued gsAVAX and the reward rate for the gsAVAX issued is as follows

Rewards

AVAX Staking collects the stakes of users who applied for each round and stakes them in the Creder NHNCloud node in the next round. The rewards generated by the node are settled at the end of the round and distributed to users who hold gsAVAX. Currently, the expected reward for a Creder NHNCloud node is about 5.49% APR, and the node must maintain an uptime of 80% or higher to keep all rewards.

Rewards are paid in gsAVAX, and a fee is deducted from the reward payment to cover the staking service and node operation service. Currently, the fee calculation formula is as follows and is applied at around 2%.
